Team - I've been working on aggregating all of the GNOME related domains and configuring each of them to properly use both ns-master and ns-slave. Currently both the foundation and individuals have domains registered in a number of places which makes management disjointed and difficult. The goal now is to gather up all GNOME related domains and transfer them to a single registrar under the umbrella of the GNOME Foundation.
In discussing this, the issue arises regarding which registrar do we want to use? Currently the main domain (gnome.org) and others are with network solutions. I think network solutions is far too expensive (more than double what I've seen at some other registrars!). What opinions do you all have regarding registrars? Who are you using personally and who would you suggest for the foundation? As a discussion point, Lifehacker recently held a poll and published a list of the five most popular domain registrars[1]. Perhaps that list is a good place to start. Opinions?
