Hi,
Is it possible to run Gnome without dbus and hal? On FreeBSD hald
crashes all the time so I booted without hal/dbus/polkit, but now all
Gnome applications crash when clicking on the file/open dialog. It
seems that a lot of things in Gnome depend on hal and dbus, but with
all those crashes it gets quite annoying.
