Yes, but those are DEV builds. Beta builds are LABELED as such... I
know, I've downloaded plenty of them in tha past few years...

OOO320_m2 was also labelled as Beta.

And I do recall seing it - but I haven't seen another 'official beta'
since then.

It was removed a while ago since the newer builds supersede it.

I don't meran to be argumentative, but BUILDS are NOT the same as
'official betas', which are labeled something like 'beta#', not 'm#'.

Usually true, but not in this case. This quote is from the announcement for m2:

"I've uploaded developer snapshot build OOO320_m2. This is a usual
Dev Build but as agreed in the Release Status Meeting it will be
used as OOo 3.2 beta release."

The latests is OOO320_m7. OOO320_m8, which will be built next week
will likely become RC1.

Same thing goes for RC's... an official RC is labeled RC#, not 'm#'.
It will still be labelled 'm#'. For example, the current OpenOffice.org 3.1.1. release is named OOO310m19 (Build: 9420)

The Release team will decide next Monday if OOO320_m8 will be released as RC1.
