I don't know if it's a known issue, I guess yes, but just in case : I tried to use latest binaries package Gtkmm2 for Win32 gtkmm-win32-devel-2.22.0-2.exe, (https://live.gnome.org/gtkmm/MSWindows) with latest mingw32 toolchain (sourceforge), using gcc 4.7.2. It causes a crash when execution is launched.
All is fine with gcc 4.6.2. I've read something about an ABI incompatibility, but nothing is precised (I think) in the download page. Sorry if useless, drkzs
