I've just tried to synchronize my Palm Tungsten E2 through to my desktop computer running openSUSE 11.0 via a USB port. After starting Gnome-Pilot I just cannot get the device to connect for an initial synchronization, my Palm just times out, saying the connection could not be established.
Before, some time ago with openSUSE 10.3 there was no problem and on my wife's laptop running Windows Xp, (quick dash for some oral hygiene), both USB and Bluetooth run like a dream. I have even rescued my old Tungsten E from the back of the cupboard to try it out with a standard USB lead without success. Other USB devices connect without problems but not the Palm. Has anybody got an ideas; is this a problem with me and my system or, is there a problem with openSUSE 11.0?
