Though I defintely agree that a minimize button might not be necessary
anymore, I got to disagree that the collapse option would be better.
Something which might be worth considering is removing the button
alltogether and only add a cmd/ctrl+h option (super+hide) which hides the
window from view and is only visible in the gnome-shell, but that would
depend on how many people actually still use the minimizing option.
