Hello,

I wanted to bring something to everyone's attention; a very minor "problem"
yet it is very visible; the look of the current gnome-shell panel. I know
this doesn't seem important compared to many other bugs and planned features
but since gnome prides itself on its new design the panel
should receive another look to simply improve the visuals. In
its current state it's not bad looking, but it simply looks out of place
with *some* wallpapers. For example, the default wallpaper look makes it
look odd, as the panel border seems to disappear in the center. Is any work
being done to refine it and make it look more like the later mock ups such
as this one:

As you can clearly see, the above mockup is much more visually pleasing and
blends better with the whole design of the shell. Anyways, I am really
enjoying gnome 3 on my Ubuntu 11.04 installation so far and I would like to
really thank you for all of your hard work. Hopefully someone can reply and
tell me if anything will be done or any ideas.

-Dave
