Do you mean this http://software.jessies.org/terminator/ or this http://www.tenshu.net/p/terminator.html Their goals and features seem to be pretty similar. My distro (Gentoo) has the latter in the most recent version 0.96, but that wants to pull in a ton of GNOME2 stuff (bonobo and friends), so I didn't give it a try for now.
