Hi all, i have created the new frontpage implementation approach with collage. i developed this within the package wgo.theme. below are the installation instructions.
the setup step "frontpage sample content" creates some sample content: - some news items in "http://localhost:8090/gnome/news/"; - one event item in "http://localhost:8090/gnome/events/"; (these are referenced in collage like "Strategy 1" explained in http://live.gnome.org/GnomeWeb/Plone/Implementation ) - a banner - an about info text (these are created within collage like "Strategy 2" explained in http://live.gnome.org/GnomeWeb/Plone/Implementation ) so, HowTo install the new frontpage: - "svn up" your buildout - run "./bin/buildout" in your buildout directory This should install Products.Collage in Plone - goto: http://localhost:8090/gnome/portal_setup/manage_importSteps -- username: admin -- password: admin -- select: "Gnome Web Theme" from "Select Profile or Snapshot"-Dropdown -- click: "Import all steps" on the bottom of the page This should create the initial frontpage AND the sample content: - goto: http://localhost:8090/gnome/portal_setup/manage_importSteps -- select: "Gnome Web Theme Frontpage" from "Select Profile or Snapshot"-Dropdown -- click: "Import all steps" on the bottom of the page I hope thats clear and more or less error-free... cheers, hannes _______________________________________________ gnome-web-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-web-list
