Hi All, With some Gnome apps I have noticed that some bugs have been in existence for years and not yet corrected. I have found these listed on discussion boards.
I was unable to find a place where Gnome users can post suggested improvements to the Gnome desktop environment and Gnome applications. What do you guys think of having a Brainstorm site for Gnome kinda like the one that Ubuntu <http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/> is using? I think it would be a better place to store and track opportunities for improvement when compared to discussion boards. A published Roadmap would also be useful as it would tell the user community what they can expect in future releases and provide an account of what features were implemented and when. It would also show Gnome users when their ideas are expected to be implemented helping to promote contributions from the community. Songbird has implemented a pretty nice roadmap<http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/Roadmap>available to the public. What do you all think? -- Mark Fernando Phone: 647-883-4443 Email: [email protected]
