Yes. It's quite clear that WordPress is the way forward for a few reasons: - We've got active contributors working on it (CMS and design). - There's a good solution for handling l10n in WP which will be fully integrated with GNOME's translation workflow. I'd add that the fact that WP is a known tool for a lot of people inside GNOME is also a big plus. The idea is to come up with an initial version of the website by the end of this month. Here are the action items: 1. Move all content we have to wp.gnome.org ACTION: Mail andreasn about this ACTION: get website-test.gnome.org up to get the content DONE: I pinged alexos about it and he activated the plone website again. We should be moving content from website-editors.gnome.org to wp.gnome.org from now on. 2. Finalize design ACTION: vdepizzol maybe send a list of pending stuff to gnome-web list? 3. Finalize translation stuff ACTION: vdepizzol need help on anything? send pending stuff to mailing list? Vinicius, you've got a bunch of action items. Maybe let us know how we can help? I think I'll help with moving existing content to WP. wp.gnome.org seems to be down now... --lucasr _______________________________________________ gnome-web-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-web-list
