Hello,
I like the fading out header image on the wiki page. IMHO the ones and zeros would match better with the ftp site. I would suggest to use maybe another metaphor: a used notebook texture, like [1] or [2] for example (just 300px high). Also the grass on the wiki page could be with holes, heaps and workers with shovels to look like "a work in progress", that is a wiki. [1] http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=paper+texture#/drok89 [2] http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=paper+texture#/dsvfzb (maybe not that damaged) Overall I think all the sub-sites should customize gnome.org by following the same pattern. For example by changing both the header fading out image, and the "grass" footer line. So it is visually consistent from one site to another.
