Hi, Just a quick note to let you know that the Zeitgeist engine has just been uploaded to Debian, thanks to David Paleino (hanska) who sponsored the upload.
It may still take a while for it to go through copyright checks but in at most some weeks Zeitgeist 0.3 will be available in Debian unstable, and from there it will propagate to Ubuntu Lucid (which currently has Zeitgeist 0.2.1). From then one future updates will be much faster. The packages in Debian/Ubuntu will be: * zeitgeist-core - the main engine and the Python module. * zeitgeist-datahub - the zeitgeist-datahub binary and the GtkRecentlyUsed logger * zeitgeist - a meta-package for installing zeitgeist-core and zeitgeist-datahub Once GNOME Activity Journal is released I'll also get it into Debian.
