Some news about SHA1 that is, perhaps, relevant to past debates among arch hackers.

The design uses SHA1 just as a redundant check of data integrity and as a source of significant performance optimizations. -t _______________________________________________ Gnu-arch-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnu-arch-users GNU arch home page: http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/gnu-arch/
