Because using a non-GNU tool for the GNU system, when the GNU project
already has such a tool is beyond all logic.
Have you heard something about evolution? Better replacing worse? That's
what we see now in the space of free DSCMs. The second step is
consolidation around the best "alternative", but this will require some
time... And yes, I'm talking here about GPLed tools.
