It's an interface issue -- those diffs are not used by tla anyway --
people and scripts expect the meta-level, and for scripts, it actually
matters.  At least in the communities I'm a part of, -p1 seems to
basically be the standard these days.

BK and git use "a/" and "b/" for the original and modified
meta-levels, which is rather nice (short, but more importantly, the
same width).
