It wasn't really either - I just felt like puncturing James' argument
from anti-authority.

"It looks like it's run by marketdroids" is an abbreviation of an
effect that anybody who's worked on or near a large corporate project
should recognise (although you don't need to have done it to know
it). I didn't really want to go over the subject again in any detail;
handwaving in the general direction was sufficient to defeat the point
I was replying to.
