I remember we decided to block the virtualbox additions because they
were non-free, but I can't remember the reason. Today, borgo asked me on
IRC why we block them if the sources are available, though I can't
confirm is they're freely available or a part of them. I couldn't find
any mention to vb in libreplanet's blacklist either.

Maybe it's status has changed since a year ago? Or this doesn't apply
for the OSE additions? Are we more popists than the pope? :P
