Docker packages a program with a collection of other software. Is all that software free? I presumed that it is proprietary, but now I am not sure. If all the software that Docker puts in a package is free, then there is nothing wrong about using programs packaged that way. If the packaging software is also free, then there is nothing wrong with it either.
