 CopyNighters,

I hope you're enjoying your respective New Years. As you've probably
already read on the general CopyNight list, there is plenty to talk
about right now in the world of copyright. Whether its the push to
erase the idea of fair-use from collective consciousness, or future
attempts at reanimating the Broadcast Flag, 2006 promises to be
 chock-full-of-nuts (as in DRM-is-nuts).

So why don't you join us to discuss it over a beer for our first
meeting of the year? Myself and other members from Free Culture @ NYU
will be attending, so we'd love it if you could make it. We'll be at
Swift's on 4th St. between Bowery and Lafayette at 8pm. Along with
their great beer list, Swift's serves some really tasty food (they
even have french fries now!) so you can grab a bite too.

 See you there!
