How the hell do you get "can happily coexist" and "destroying intellectual property" to logically fit together?
I didn't write anything about mess that is "Intellectual Property", and strongly disagree with any usage of the word. Not to mention that copyright law, patent law, and trademark law have absolutley nothing to do with economic models like communism/capitalism. It's an economic model that hopes to destroy capitalistic notions of intellectual property. Free software has nothing to do with economics. Charging a fee for writting a program, or distributing it is perfectly OK. Subjugating a users freedom to run, study, improve and distribute programs is on the other hand not OK; note that none of these freedoms speak about "price". _______________________________________________ gnu-misc-discuss mailing list gnu-misc-discuss@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnu-misc-discuss
