How can I control the system spacing? Right now, my systems have no
space at all, as in the bar number of the lower is flush against the
bottom extent of the upper system. Eventually, we will want those
nifty little slash marks that you see in orchestral scores. For now,
though I would just be content to get some space.

I have tried adjusting \parskip and \baselinestretch, but the results
prove that I am "barking up the wrong tree", so to speak. I am
not above a quick source code hack to fix this in the very near term,
but I don't know what to look at. Is this a TeX issue, or lilypond?
