The "free music" thread has brought on some interesting discussion;
but I felt a little guilty about posting to it (although I did :)
because the issues are of interest to all musicians, but a classical
guitar NG doesn't seem the right place for it.
I would like to hear opinions about starting a newsgroup in the
rec.music heirarchy--say rec.music.typesetting, dealing with issues of
typesetting (and perhaps distributing) music electronically.
It seems that with the availability of music typesetting tools to any
computer owner, and the interest in the subject shown in the above
thread, it should be in rec.music.
