On a RH-5.0 setup, with many software upgrades done via build-your-own
rather than rpm, make install fails with:
make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/bevan/compiling/lilypond-1.2.9/scripts'
perl ../buildscripts/help2man.pl out/abc2ly > out/abc2ly.1
make[1]: *** [out/abc2ly.1] Error 139
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/bevan/compiling/lilypond-1.2.9/scripts'
make: *** [install] Error 2
gcc = gcc 2.9.5
I had previously installed 1.2.3 without problems. Any ideas?
