I'm trying to beam a pair of grace notes. The example in the user
guide says:
\grace { [c16 c16] }
And shows a nicely beamed pair of grace notes. But when I say:
\grace { [e8 f8] }
lily tells me:
tyrolienne-1.ly:16:47: warning: Junking request: `Span_req':
f2 f8 fis4. \bar "|"; \grace { [
e8 f8] } g4 d8 bes4.
tyrolienne-1.ly:16:56: warning: Junking request: `Span_req':
f2 f8 fis4. \bar "|"; \grace { [e8 f8]
} g4 d8 bes4.
And doesn't beam the notes. Has this syntax changed? This is true in
both 1.3.107 and 1.3.108.
