Hi there. the current gnucap package lacks development support. i think thats bad, but YMMV. i've prepared a git repo that contains alioth/pkg-electronics/gnucap plus a few patches at git://tool.em.cs.uni-frankfurt.de/git/gnucap_deb in the "dev" branch.
the upstream related patches (quilt) are - src/Makefile.am: install headers to $(pkgincludedir) - Makefile.am: install gnucap-conf script that knows about paths - src/Makefile.am: add RPATH flag to gnucap executable, which is needed to locate future plugins. the package related patches do - use dh_autoreconf to simplify build system patches - build gnucap-dev package (modelgen, gnucap-conf, headers) - gnucap-dev conflicts with older gnucap (modelgen) - enable parallel build i do not know about how upstream is planning to solve that. in any case i'd appreciate something like the proposed patches in an upstream release. or a discussion about alternatives. regards felix PS: with your consent i'd push these changes myself, but im not even a pkg-electronics member... _______________________________________________ Gnucap-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucap-devel
