I might suggest some lighter weight XML tools before Jade.  The
parser that James Clark contributed to Mozilla for example, and
there are others.  I know, use, and appreciate Jade on a daily
basis, but we don't need a report layout mechanism that dwarfs
the rest of the application because it supports all the esoteric
nooks and crannies of SGML that we have zero intention of ever
using using. :-)
