Hi,

I'm surprised that no one has reported this yet. I used to compile the
CVS version just fine, then about a week ago something changed and
now I get this.

../../src/guile/obj/gfec.o: In function `gfec_catcher':
/home/afc/archives/CVS/gnucash/src/guile/gfec.c:78: undefined reference to
`scm_strport_to_string'
make[4]: *** [../../gnucash.gnome] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/afc/archives/CVS/gnucash/src/gnome'
make[3]: *** [gnome] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/afc/archives/CVS/gnucash/src'
make[2]: *** [build-flavor] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/afc/archives/CVS/gnucash'
make[1]: *** [gnome.real] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/afc/archives/CVS/gnucash'
make: *** [gnome] Error 2

I figured it was going to be corrected quickly so I kept checking out
CVS, but the problem is still here (the latest checkout was only a
few minutes ago) more than a week after I first encountered this problem.

I even wiped out my CVS and did a clean checkout in case this was a
CVS problem, but no.

Is this something so unique that it only affects me or is it that
everybody is running patches not yet available in CVS?
