Bill,
I'm just trying to get my head around the table style code,
and I'm not sure how the API appears to work matches up with what I
want to do.
As you anticipated a while ago, I want set different rows different
colours (heading rows different to subheading rows, alternating
colors for each split etc. Now, to do this, I have to set add an
attribute bgcolour=#f00000, for example to a particular row's style.
However, it appears that to set a style for a particular row, you have
to know exactly what row number you're presently at. There isn't a
"set the last row you added's style" or something similar, is there?

<telsa> I left my client on #gtk+ overnight and there was nothing
in scrollback at all except quit/rejoins.
<bighead> telsa: well its been that for, I think 3 days now
(ever since started coming back on IRC)
<telsa> Clearly they are busy implementing telepathy,
and dog-fooding it. :)
