I'm seeing: qof_load_backend_library: assertion `(stat(fullpath, &sbuf) == 0)' failed gnc_engine_init: assertion `(qof_load_backend_library (QOF_LIB_DIR, "libqof-backend-qsf.la", "qsf_provider_init"))' failed qof_load_backend_library: assertion `(stat(fullpath, &sbuf) == 0)' failed Warning: qof_session_load_backend(): failed to load libqof-backend-qsf.la from /usr/local/lib using qsf_provider_init but not the messages you reported. Are these related? Maybe I have different trace settings than you do? This happeds when I try to open a file, and I also get an error box saying "Can't parse the URL." I guess I'll try a fresh 'make distclean'. -chris > This wasn't there before today. > > I'm not sure if this message is related to your change, or if this error > always occurred but nothing was never printed until I committed some of > Chris' changes today.
