After the G2->HEAD collapse last night, and after a few migrations last
night and this morning to handle various issues, we're declaring victory
in the CVS -> SVN migration.

The Subversion repository is now authoritative for GnuCash development.

To re-iterate, as the gnome2-branch has been merged back into the head,
http://svn.gnucash.org/repo/gnucash/trunk is the latest source and most
appropriate for development.

See
http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-devel/2005-October/014333.html for
details about the migration and an introduction to subversion.

The migration was done with symbol-rewriting; CVS branches and tags of
the form "gnucash-1-8-branch" and "gnucash-1-8-12" are now
"/repo/gnucash/branches/1.8" and "/repo/gnucash/tags/1.8.12". See those
two directories for a list of both tags and branches defined.

The repository has been re-migrated with options appropriate to fix the
image/eol issue as mentioned at
http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-devel/2005-November/014548.html. A
`diff -r` between CVS head and SVN trunk found only one difference of
consequence (po/ChangeLog was not migrated appropriately by cvs2svn). A diff
between http://svn.gnucash.org/repo/gnucash/tags/1.8.12 and the SF.net 1.8.12
tarball has no differences of consequence. The same diff between the 1.8.12
tags has no differences of consequence. The trunk builds, installs and
smoketest-runs.
