I'm very sorry, but no, this complaint is not valid here. The "trunk" branch 
is the development branch. If you can't stand that it is currently under 
*development*, please stop updating from SVN to the most current revision, but 
instead just stick to a slightly older revision, e.g. one that was released as 
stable version, such as r20417.
