Ok, two other things to test (please test them separately):
1) put quotes around $am_cv_scanf_lld on line 729, so it looks like:
"$am_cv_scanf_lld"
2) Add 'dnl' on line 720, so that it reads like this:
# dnl AC_REPLACE_...
