another aspect of my suggestion was:
if i see it right, with gnucash when you write a dividend income transaction
into a dividend-income-account, there is no possibility to link that transaction
somehow with the corresponding asset(share)account. It could seem usefull
f.expl. to be able to view dividend income transactions in the corresponding
share-account or in corresponding reports
