Wouldn't it make more sense to have this facility point to the name of a Guile 
function?

That way you'd not need an extra parser, because Guile is already perfectly 
good at parsing Scheme code.

And you'd have quite unbound power to "look things up," because you'd have 
access, on the Guile side, to any of the GnuCash engine API.
