That's it. I'dont see the checking for OpenHBCI output.and if it doesn't, there's something wrong with your openhbci installation.
Which openhbci package did you get? The tar.gz sources, or the SuSE 8.0 binary rpm?
I'm using the rpm binary package for SuSE 8.0.

./configure --enable-hbci ... and the rest of your options. The uppercase HBCI was wrong, so this was the error.
