Hi,
note: please always write to the -devel mailing list, never to individual developers.
Sorry for that - I will do better next time.
You can always choose the time period for HBCI transaction download in that neat little dialog, by checking the radiobutton "from ... to ...". The fact that by default, gnucash offers you to get all transactions "since last retrieval" is just a convenience function by gnucash -- it simply remembers your last time of retrieval. Since you always can choose an arbitrary time period, you don't need to reset this remembered setting.Well, I though so too, but for one exception I did not get a result at all. Maybe this will change, when I have installed the newer openHBCI package. My questions was in general, although I could not think of a reason one should not be allowed to receive the same reports several times, and I guess that the Duplicate Transaction is the button to use, if one would want to get rid of those transactions.
Yes, you can change the ownership for the HBCI setup files without problems. The necessary files are 1. the OpenHBCI configuration file, as shown on the initial page in the HBCI Setup druid, and 2. the OpenHBCI key file (except when you are using the chip card), which you have specified during your initial HBCI Setup. If you've forgotten the file name of the key file, look into the OpenHBCI configuration file and search for a line starting with the string "keyfile=".
Very well, I will try this and see if I can get this straight. Thanks, Stephan
