GnuCash works great on MacOS X. Try:
go to fink.sourceforge.net download and install fink
Just want to add to this, there are other package management systems for Mac OS X, darwinports (http://www.opendarwin.org/projects/darwinports), which will likely ship with Mac OS X 10.3 (panther), and Gentoo are two good ones. As far as I am aware gnucash is in neither of them, if anyone wants help making a port for those package managers I'd be happy to lend a hand.
I keep meaning to keep up with gnucash cvs, but don't have the time ( I also keep hoping for time :-p ), so others working on gnucash on Mac OS X is great!
Thanks, Peter
