Ok, now finally my home DSL line is working again and I found some time to spend on gnucash. Thanks for your hints. > Preferences: > i18n: > date format: > double colon err -- I didn't found the problem here. If I start gnucash with LANG=C, should I see this error somewhere? If yes, where? > General bugs: > currencies aren't translatable Yes, that's indeed a bug. In fact the long currency names are simply the English names, regardless of the current locale/language. E.g. the long name for DEM is always displayed as "German Mark" even though in a German environment this should rather be displayed in the German words "Deutsche Mark". This should be changed in future releases. Maybe you can file a bug report in bugzilla? > account/C/: > acctlist_common.gnucash-xea: > wrong title and short description > acctchrt_brokerage.gnucash-xea: > newline in short description Ok, fixed. I think the acctlist_* files aren't used anyway, are they? I thought *only* the acctchrt files are used in the account hierarchy creation druid.
