In 7.5.3. Setting Stock Price Automatically you talk about how to test if Finance::Quotes is installed. There is also the "dump-finance-quote" test program which is distributed with GnuCash to help see if it's working properly.
I added the following text:
After installation is complete, you should run the "dump-finance-quote" test program distributed with GnuCash to test if Finance::Quote is installed and working properly.
