I was reading the Gnome Documentation style guide and came across these items:
http://developer.gnome.org/documents/style-guide/screenshot-4.html
Which says, " The maximum width of images is 510 pixels. At this width, images fit on a printed page."
http://developer.gnome.org/documents/style-guide/screenshot-7.html
Which says "Do not use drop shadow or any other special graphic effects on screenshots."
These instructions are quite different from the "Nautilus documentation style guide" I have been using in the past. I actually agree with the Gnome styleguide, and is easier to do (no need to make drop shadows).
Anyway, should I change all the screenshots (after the doc release this weekend) to match the recomendations of the Gnome Documentation style guide? I don't mind doing it, but I'll only do it if people think it is a good idea.
