When I look a gnucash, I see a digital version of a checkbook. Indeed this
seems to be gnucash's original and only goal.

as soon as i see all that manual entry I quiver and dont consider using
gnucash for another minute.

has it been considered to go to a financial consolidation app? Try out
yodlee.com(its free) for an example.

All i want to do is download gnucash, give it web pages, login names, and
passwords, and have detailed financial analysis of all my credit cards,
bank accounts, loans, and brokerage accounts.

Being able to watch my spending and investments over time where all the
data collection is automatic is the need that needs to be filled! I haved
used a checkbook in 10 years.

Thank You
Don
