So am I, and I ran in a relatively clean (i.e. not in a Gtk-OSX build shell) MacOS 10.13 environment. I have run gnc-fq-update recently so my Perl environment will have been updated with all of those dependencies. Since it broke suddenly for you it seems possible that it was something you did on your system. Do you remember hitting on CPAN for anything in the last couple of weeks? I’d start by studying LWP::UserAgent and searching on something like “lwp connection debugging”.
