I assume stock id is the commodity in question here… I have my stock id set to a commodity code (based on the code provided by the exchange) in the Security Editor->Symbol/abbreviation field.
When I use the same Symbol/abbreviation field in the CSV price file, the importer seems to find the commodity without any issues. Also ensure the currency of the commodity matches the one on the CSV file. Cheers. Unfortunately I am having a problem with getting the tool to recognise the stock ID. I have tried the normal version eg ABF. GVC, ITV etc and I get the reddish colour with the message Commodity From could not be understood. I then tried adding the .L to indicate London SE - that did not work. Even tried the prefix LON: and then I tried the ISIN code without any luck. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong? _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user If you are using Nabble or Gmane, please see https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists for more information. ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
