Any reason not to move to the batch API (` https://www.alphavantage.co/query?function=BATCH_STOCK_QUOTES&symbols=MSFT,AXP,...&apikey=XXX`) then you could get all the current quotes with a single call. It seems inefficient to get the stock history one stock at a time to discard all the values but the first one to get the current quote. -A.
