Ok, this does look like a bug. Just to estimate the scope, can you open the data file in gnucash from the command line ? That is, does C:\tools\gnucash\bin>gnucash.exe /C/Users/*****/Downloads/gnuCash-test-2/ t14.sqlite3.gnucash or C:\tools\gnucash\bin>gnucash-cli.exe C:\Users\*****\Downloads\gnuCash- test-2\t14.sqlite3.gnucash work ?
