I don’t use the interest feature, as I have the credit card paid off every month by direct debit, and have never paid interest. I do use the automatic payment feature (from bank to credit card), and find it helpful, but not essential. If it were withdrawn I expect it would take a while to get out of old habits (ten years since I first started using GC!), but I’d cope.
