Hello, I use QIF to import all my imports, including stocks and multi currency and it just works, not sure why. I use the latest GnuCash version that comes with CentOS. I use trading accounts and when I have a currency exchange I only populate the two entries and the two trading account transactions are then added by GnuCash.
It is only possible to assign one currency in the import file, but with QIF import the currency is based on the Account and the amount based on the T Field. Note that the below example is manually edited, but I hope I have no mistakes in it. The example below is for two different transactions to two different accounts. If you need an example of a currency exchange I can include one example of that as well. kind regards Ove. !Clear:AutoSwitch !Account NAssets:EUR Money Market Fund ^ !Type:Bank D24-09-2019 PDescription 123 EUR T123 LMoney Market fund conversion MMemo ^ !Account NAssets:USD Money Market Fund ^ !Type:Bank D15-10-2019 PDescription 10000 USD T10000 LCategory MMemo ^ On Tue, 4 Aug 2020 at 04:46, Gio Bacareza <gbacar...@gmail.com> wrote: > Thanks! > > On Mon, Aug 3, 2020 at 11:29 PM GTI .H <gti90...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > Em seg., 3 de ago. de 2020 às 01:07, Gio Bacareza <gbacar...@gmail.com> > > escreveu: > > > >> Hi, > >> > >> I read in this list some time ago that multi-currency imports is a known > >> issue in gnucash.
