Ah!  I've just seen that sqlite is only supported from version 4.2 and
I'm on version 3.8, so that explains it!  

Does anyone have any experience of getting GnuCash >4.2 working on
[x]Ubuntu?  Is it easy to compile/build? (I do have a fair amount of
experience, I used to build my own Linux kernels etc.)
