The documentation says that, "The check box Hidden marks this account (and any sub-accounts) to be hidden in the account tree and not appear in the pop-up account list in the register."
However, hidden accounts are still appearing in the account pop-up for me (version 4.4). Is this a known bug? I read about marking all of the hidden accounts with placeholder, but this is a pain. It also appears you still have to mark all subaccounts as hidden and placeholder as well, which is a pain.
